Runnin’ Buzz Bartending was created to offer a whole new level of a fun, personal, and professional beverage catering experience to different events across the United States. Our business is a certified woman-minority-owned business, however, we are mostly a family-operated team that can handle everything needed so that you can be a guest at your own event.
We ensure that every event we cater gets a unique and personalized experience that would exceed our clients’ satisfaction.
We serve mocktails (non-alcoholic mixed beverages), to children, teenagers, and others. Our team aims to let young and sober-minded individuals know they can also enjoy a good alcohol-free mix. To add, our goal is to accommodate everyone with a beverage of their choice, without any further questions.
More than our brand, we represent other individuals and businesses in our local community. We provide services that safeguard everyone’s reputation, including our own, by professionally representing ourselves.
We have our very own portable bars to choose, from standard mobile bars (colors available: Black; White) to customized LED front and back bar with interchangeable panels. Our mobile bars are equipped and ready for any kind of event needed.

Lanisha Thornton
Over the years, Lanisha had always been successful in planning events. Whether she was the bartender, host, or planner, she worked those events with great success and notoriety.Lanisha is the owner of Runnin’ Buzz Bartending. She’s originally from Champaign, Illinois, but has been residing in Tallahassee, Florida for nearly 20 years. Living with her is her wonderful husband and children. She received her Bachelor of Science degree in Criminal Justice from Florida International University and her Associates of Arts degree in Paralegal Studies from Keiser University.
Lanisha has a proven record of experience in the public and private sectors. Her diverse work ethic and background have allowed her to maintain expertise in dealing with areas of personal, commercial, and business-related manners.
Throughout her career, Lanisha has shown virtues that would illustrate her life journey in leadership and service. She volunteered in the Leon County School District for more than 10 years. Lanisha has also served on the Villas at Pine Forest Homeowners’ Association Board of Directors in 2014, which she has worked as a president since 2016.
In 2019, Lanisha was ready for a new life venture that was more entertaining. She’s known to be very passionate about bartending, so she achieved to be a professional one. The same year, Lanisha was licensed to serve in Florida and Georgia and was certified to mix across the nation.
Lanisha managed to establish her own business, Runnin’ Buzz Bartending, in January of the year 2020. With her determination and passion for what she’s doing, Lanisha became even more inspired to mix cocktails and mix mocktails that even kids can enjoy. She wanted to show people that bartending is not just about alcohol. She aims to provide a service that offers a whole new level of fun, personal, and professional beverage catering experience.
Lanisha is a female entrepreneur who is blessed with a business minded spirit that is powerful, kind-hearted, and generous.
